Winter Thrust 2019 – Team Yankee

Rules: Lists from all official Team Yankee books, including Czechoslovak Peoples Armies, Polish Peoples Armies, and Oil Wars, will be accepted.  We will use the More Missions, including Battle Plans and Victory Conditions.

Pairing: Pairing will be done manually by the TO to ensure maximum opportunity to pair players from different areas against each other and to pit NATO against Warsaw Pact to the greatest extent possible. 

Scoring: 80% Generalship, 20% Sportsmanship. Best Painted will be announced but is not worked into the scoring.

Painting: All models to be used must be painted to a minimum of one colour for armour and three colours for infantr. National paint schemes may vary if required e.g. Iranian Chieftains could be painted in British paint scheme. Any proposed proxies must be identified at the time of list submission and must be approved by the TO and the appropriate card must be used e.g A British painted Chieftain can be used for Iran but the player must have/use the Iranian unit card stats.

Army Lists: Army lists must be submitted to the TO one week prior to the event at panzer.rankin@gmail.com  This is essential to allowing the pairing to be completed prior to the tournament start. This will also allow the TO to send a copy of the event program to players in advance. Please bring four typed copies of your list with your name on them on the day of the tournament. 20 spots are available for registration. The TO will play if there is an odd number of players on the day.
