DESCRIPTION:\nDice roll at 9:00 AM, doors open at 8:30 AM. 3 games for the day. (plus there is our traditional boss fight which happens at the end!)\nEntry fee: $25\nEach round is two hours (boss fight is much shorter of course!)\nTournament Rules\n1,250 point tournament. Please bring your mission cards as they will be required for secondaries as per normal.\nPainting requirement: For this tournament, 50% or more of the models in your army must be painted to at least 3 color minimum. (if you need clarification about this just ask)\nThis is a narrative tournament – friendly / fun lists only. if you’re unsure if something is over the line, that’s probably a good indication it is over the line. If you need to ask – please do!\nAlso bringing something horrendous just to win the boss fight isn’t going to result in anyone having fun games against you. (ahem Avatar of Khaine, C’tan, knights, primarchs etc.) Please keep that in mind.\nLegends units CAN be brought, so long as they fall under the friendly/fun category.\nYou MUST include as your warlord a named SPECIAL CHARACTER from your relevant codex. It is their great crusade! So it’s about this character’s personal retinue of awesome they are bringing along for their personal crusade. (ie: if you play daemons you can bring Rotigus as your warlord for example, but not a stock GUO as a warlord. Marines can bring Calgar but not a stock captain as their warlord, etc. etc.)\nIf your codex is GSC which has no named special characters, the patriarch may be used (only ONE per army however – it’s still their great crusade!).\nIf your special character is one that has a retinue attached (Celestine, gaunts ghosts etc.) as one datasheet, then the retinue can be there for the boss fight as well. Any character who has a rule that is used when they are leading a unit, still has that rule for the boss fight, even though they’re running solo. They’re just that cool.\nMissions will be narrative. If you attended last year you realize just HOW narrative this means. Sometimes the mission will not be perfectly balanced. Sometimes (ahem a lot of the time) you will be forced to do wacky things to score points. That is just how this one goes!\n
