DESCRIPTION:Our annual painting competition has come around again!\nStarting on January 2nd and any day afterward, bring your unpainted miniature or model into the store to enter it into the competition! Then, return with it before February 2nd, and it will be displayed in our showcase while our judges consider! We’ll post the winners and runner-ups of each category on our social media, as well as any special mentions by the judges!\nTo enter:\nBetween Jan 2nd and Feb 2nd, bring your miniature into the store. It must be unpainted, meaning either no paint or one colour of primer. The entry fee is $5 per miniature, and there is no limit on the number of entries. Once Nexus staff have seen your unpainted miniature and taken your entry fee, take your miniature home and get painting! Once you’re finished, return to the store to submit your miniature. Staff will help you place it in the Golden Brush showcase, where it will be securely displayed for all to see! Finished miniatures must be submitted by Feb 2nd, so that they’re present for the judges (and everyone!) to consider. Once we’ve posted the winners, you can take your miniature home again.\nCategories:\nMiniatures will be sorted into categories once the submission period has ended. These categories will depend on the number and type of miniature submitted; usually there are categories for Small, and Large Miniatures, as well as a Squad category for groups of miniatures, Young Gunz for painters 14 years old or younger, Beginner for those with less than a year of painting experience, and categories for things like Dioramas if enough are submitted. There will be honours and prizes for the top submission in each category!\nDon’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have!\nSign-ups are in person in the store only, with no limit – we’ll consider every submission!\nNOT SOLD OUT, please read above\n
