It’s been requested, and it’s here! All of Ben’s class offerings combined into a single weekend-long event. If you’ve missed any of the earlier classes, or you really want to learn about something again, or you don’t like the waits between classes, or hey, maybe you just prefer to learn everything at once, this is the class for you!
We’ll paint for 5 hours a day, Saturday and Sunday, and cover the following techniques:
- Colour Theory (basics and advanced)
- Two-Brush Blending
- Polychromatic Shading
- Realistic and Diverse Skin Tones
- Fur and Hair
- True Metallic Metal
- Glazing
If time permits, we’ll also touch on Non-Metallic Metal and Painting with Achromatic Colours.
A miniature will be provided, but you are also encouraged to bring your own to practice on if you have extra time. Paints will be provided by Legendary Paints, but feel free to bring other brands if you prefer to use those (Formula P3 or Citadel should work fine, certain techniques may not be transferable to all brands). Bring your own brushes, sable hair preferred. Nexus will have appropriate brushes available for sale if you do not have your own.
