As this worked out pretty good last time, we’ll try it again – In order to accommodate new players who may not yet have 2,000 point armies and still want to attend we have two options for you:

A: Bring a 2,000 point list using the matched play rules from General’s Handbook 2021

B: You and a friend of your choosing can each bring a 1,000 point list and combine together as a team to make a 2,000 point list. If you choose this option there are a couple rules involved:

– You and your partner must decide on a grand general of your army, which counts for things such as slay the warlord etc. You each have a general for your army that only affects units from your particular army (no using a vampire general to buff your ogors!)

– Spells which affect friendly units only work on your specific 1k army, not your partner’s army!

– You must have three battleline units TOTAL between both 1k armies (not 3 each!). Likewise the 1-6 leaders, 0-4 behemoths, 0-4 artillery, 0-3 endless spells and 0-4 reinforced units are for the TOTAL 2k list. (sorry, no bringing 8 artillery!)

– You choose ONE grand strategy for the combined 2k army that either player can achieve

– Battle tactics are still once per round but either player can achieve them.

This is a very friendly, introductory tournament to Age of Sigmar, and it is perfectly fine if you do not have much experience with the new system (given 3.0 has just recently been released we’re all pretty new here!). As such when you build your lists, try to ensure it is on the friendly side. Even though you MIGHT own the latest greatest GT winning list, this tourney is not really the place for the netlists, as it will be predominantly brand new players to the system.

We’ll be using the missions from the General’s Handbook 2021

NO PAINTING REQUIREMENT!
(a lovely shade of grey plastic is perfectly acceptable!)

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! (can be your first games of AOS, it’s okay, we’ll help out!)

All prizes are door prizes – you will get tickets to put in a draw of your choice for awesome prizes!
