The Great Crusade 2026

Saturday May 30th at Kingston Gaming Nexus

Dice roll at 9:00 AM, doors open at 8:30 AM. 3 games for the day. (plus there is our traditional boss fight which happens at the end!)

Entry fee: $20

Each round is two hours (boss fight is much shorter of course!)

Schedule:
8:30 AM – doors open
9:00 AM – matchups and announcements
9:15 – 11:15 AM  – Game one
11:15-12:15 – Lunch
12:15 – 2:15 – Game two
2:30 – 4:30 – Game Three
4:40 – 5:00 – BOSS FIGHT
5 PM – prizes and awards

Tournament Rules
-1,250 point tournament. Please bring your mission cards as they will be required for secondaries as per normal.

-Painting requirement: For this tournament, 50% or more of the models in your army must be painted to at least 3 color minimum. (if you need clarification about this just ask)

-This is a narrative tournament – friendly / fun lists only. if you’re unsure if something is over the line, that’s probably a good indication it is over the line. If you need to ask – please do!

-Legends units CAN be brought, so long as they fall under the friendly/fun category.

-NO Titanic units for this one. 

–NEW THIS YEAR!
You cannot include ANY epic heroes in your list. Instead you MUST include as your warlord a special character which you will create using the Maelstrom crucible of champions rules. If you do not own this book,(since they’re sold out worldwide) it’s okay because New Recruit list building app (free app or web based) has all the rules included in it for building a special character using these rules.
This creates a balanced fair set of warlords that isn’t skewing the final battle (oh sorry Ursula creed, looks like you’re fighting the avatar!). Plus you get to have fun and do something that is kinda funny for your own specially designed character that YOU made, and now they get to have their great crusade!

-Missions will be narrative. If you attended last year you realize just HOW narrative this means. Sometimes the mission will not be perfectly balanced. Sometimes (ahem a lot of the time) you will be forced to do wacky things to score points. That is just how this one goes!
